You may have been fooled as I was for a bit that it was our generation and the likes of Faraday that developed the electric bulb, battery and electric technology. Or that space travel and exploration, and high tech engineering construction are unique to our age.
I challenge scientists ultimately as follows-
The non believing scientific world with all their modern technology should justify why humans spend almost half of their lives in sleep. What is the use of this if not a divine, non physical purpose. Why do we sleep?
Science no doubt professes to have so many answers, aided with their technology. So they should at the very least give an evolutionary justification to what we do almost half of our lives. That is significant, very significant!
Richard Dawkins admits the mathematical possibility of God… making him an Agnostic — not an Atheist. He also allows for Intelligent Design as long as we are looking for evidence of alien designers (not God). Continue reading

A recent study by Dr. Esra Tasali, an assistant professor of medicine, found that disrupting the deepest sleep periods rapidly resulted in reduction in ability to regulate blood-sugar levels.
